The Wilford features a distinct and dedicated design approach focused on blending new construction into the existing historic fabric of downtown Waconia. This focused design effort contemplated how the building is not only received by its surroundings but also how this new addition gives back and supports the downtown area. Emphasis was placed at each end of the building where retail nodes activate the street front while residential units with direct access to the sidewalk engage and occupy the “in-between” areas of the block.

The project required close collaboration with the City of Waconia. A public parking component to the project and various infrastructure improvements were coordinated and managed throughout the design and construction process. The Wilford stands as a testament to how design can facilitate growth and reinvigoration in a historic downtown neighborhood.

The Meadows Senior Living is expanding with the second phase of the project - The Meadows Independent Living Senior Apartments! The two buildings will be attached by a 2nd floor skyway (the first in Savage!) allowing residents to easily access shared amenity spaces in both buildings. The 72-unit building is expected to open in Summer 2027. Thanks to North Shore Contractors for their awesome drone photos!

Just steps from the highly walkable 50th & France intersection in Minneapolis, this 47‑unit luxury apartment building elevates urban living through sophisticated design. The design team set out to create a modern architectural statement with timeless materials and a strong neighborhood presence.

The exterior reinterprets traditional materials through a contemporary lens, featuring a dark brick exterior with light and dark contrasts that add depth and visual interest. The building offers a variety of floor plans, ranging from refined one‑bedroom residences to spacious three‑bedroom plus den penthouses. A strategic fifth‑floor step‑back creates expansive private patios, enhancing the connection to the outdoors. The project stands as a thoughtful and design‑forward addition to one of Minneapolis’s most beloved neighborhoods.

The Finch transforms a portion of the former Pentagon Park office campus in Edina into 276 much-needed apartment homes, helping redefine the site as a vibrant residential neighborhood. Designed in collaboration with Solhem, the building responds to the City's vision by establishing an active presence along busy 77th Street and creating a strong connection to Fred Richards Park. A thoughtfully designed woonerf blends pedestrian activity with vehicle access, extending the public realm toward the park and encouraging movement between the ever-evolving neighborhood and its surrounding open spaces.

Carefully planned to celebrate its park-side setting, The Finch features expansive floor-to-ceiling windows and patio doors that frame picturesque views of Fred Richards Park, filling each apartment with natural daylight. The exterior combines brick with textured precast concrete panels to create depth, shadow, and visual interest, helping break down the scale of the building into a more pedestrian-friendly composition.

Constructing on the former office campus presented significant site challenges due to organic soils and the building's proximity to Nine Mile Creek. Supporting the structure required geo-piers and careful coordination to protect the surrounding watershed throughout construction. Achieving NGBS Silver certification further reflects the project's commitment to sustainable residential design.

Residents enjoy a wide range of amenities that promote an active lifestyle, complemented by a neighborhood café that activates the street and serves both the building and the surrounding community. Together, these elements transform a once office-oriented campus into a vibrant place to live, gather, and connect with nature.
