Position Title: Landscape Crew Lead (Full-Time)

Reports to: VP of Operations

Direct Reports: Landscape & Lawn Crew Personnel

Position Summary:

The Landscape Crew Lead's responsibilities include overseeing the MSP landscape construction projects and maintaining existing grounds, monitoring and training workers, supervising the use of equipment, ensuring staff observe safety guidelines and protocols, and completing necessary administrative tasks assigned. This individual will be responsible for the prompt and efficient service standards set forth by MSP Outdoor. MSP Outdoor focuses on best in class service for all clients.

Examples of Duties and Responsibilities:

• Delegating tasks
• Overseeing the use of heavy equipment and tools along with training for safe use
• Completing landscape construction & design
• Managing lawn maintenance crews
• Responsible for equipment maintenance tasks
• Provide cost, material, time, and equipment estimates

Additional Responsibilities:

• Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Valid Driver’s License required
• Must have four years of experience working with landscape construction
• Must have basic problem solving and troubleshooting abilities

• Spanish speaking preferred, but not required

Position Summary:

The Lawn Crew Team Lead is responsible for the management of a commercial lawn route. It is the Lawn Crew Team Lead that assures the accuracy, quality, and safety of the route.

Examples of Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures quality surpasses client standards
• Operates lawn equipment daily to complete route requirements
• Responsible for equipment, truck, and trailer maintenance
• Training new lawn crew members
• Relaying pertinent property information back to the Account Manager in order to proactively communicate with the client
• Represent MSP Outdoors professional standards including, but not limited to, appropriate customer service, safety, workmanship, appropriate attire, and timeliness

Position Summary:

The Account Manager is responsible for providing exceptional service to our existing client base, and continually prospecting for additional sales opportunities. This position is responsible for the clear and concise communication of contract specifications to our production team. The Account Manager is required to follow up and follow through on all client requests in a timely manner. The position requires uncovering additional work order opportunities outside of the standard contracted services. Ensures the completion is accurate and profitable. Customer satisfaction is paramount in this position and positive, trusting relationships are a must. This individual will be responsible for the prompt and efficient service standards set forth by MSP Outdoor. MSP Outdoor focuses on best in class service for all clients.

Examples of Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop strong positive relationships with Property Managers and Maintenance Staff
• Proactively manage the portfolio and work to bring all matters to the customer before being brought to us
• Ensure contracts are bid appropriately and are profitable
• Proficient, professional, and proactive communication to clients and internal staff
• Monitors the activity of production staff to ensure all jobs are completed to customer expectations and specifications
• Prepares proposals and creates landscape designs to present to clients
• Responsible for site visits to ensure production staff is completing contracted services in accordance with contract and client expectations
• Keep client account payments current and monitor A/R reporting
• Contribute to best practices and keep/build knowledge in the landscape industry
Additional Responsibilities:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Bachelors degree preferred, but not required with adequate experience
• Valid Driver’s License required
• 2 - 3 years of experience working in the landscape industry
• Familiarity with CRM based software systems
• Landscape design experience preferred, not required
• Must be capable of working outdoors and visiting job sites regularly
• Must have basic problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
