Velinda Anderson, or โVeeโ as I call her, is not only one of my best friends but truly one of the hardest-working people I know. Sheโs one of the very few women Iโve seen earn her general contractor license, and if you know anything about that process, you know itโs no small feat. I watched her grind through late nights and early mornings, studying nonstop to prepare for an intense 8-hour exam, all while continuing to run her business. That work ethic shows in everything she does.
Vee is hands down the most talented designer Iโve ever met. From high-end restaurants and commercial spaces to beautiful residential homes, her work speaks for itself and honestly, nothing compares to her eye and creativity. On top of all that, sheโs the planner of our group. Trips, schedules, details - if itโs organized and flawless, chances are Vee made it happen.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband Derek, her two fur babies Bodie and Reggie (they are truly her kids ๐ถ), boating on fast boats, traveling, and just fully living life. Vee has the kindest heart and makes everyone around her feel special. She remembers every important date, shows up for her people, and even during the hardest season of her life losing her father, she still managed to be there for others with a smile while running a very successful business.
