Making canna butter. 🌿❤️

Going to air dry the left over pulp to make tea 💥🍵

Steps
Decarbed and fine ground Mary Jane. I used 4x the recommended amount because this is home grown and its not as strong.
6 sticks of salted butter because that is what I had.

I used the boiling water and stainless steel bowl method to melt the butter NOT boil it!!! Then I let the decarbed MJ steep in the butter for at least 2 hours, stirring occasionally making sure it was not bubbling. The slow long process is important because if you use to much heat it will burn off all the compounds you are looking to bind to the butter.
After the cooking process we strained the pulp with a fine mesh strainer then used a tea towel to finishing straining the rest of the butter out of the flower.

The butter solidified nicely over night on the counter and is ready to use!
I will not be discarding the left over pulp, instead im air drying it in order to make tea in the future, theres still a lot of butter stuck inside the flower!
