Slate roofs in Saint Louis are among some of the most beautiful in the country. When I drive around and look at them and especially when I get to work on them I think about where the styles came from. -How the traditions have been passed down through generations. Im blessed to have the knowledge I have but more blessed to have the people in my life that I have had.

Leaky valley repair yesterday. Initial plan was to replace the whole valley but I wanted to find the source before I tore the whole thing out. The roofers cut their shingles on/over the felt. This sliced the felt and eventually when the shingles failed the last line of defense was compromised.

This is the importance of having a knowledgeable and experienced project manager present during the installation of your new roof.
