✂️ Don’t skip the summer trim! 💜

Once your lavender finishes its first big bloom, give it a light trim. Cut back the spent flowers and some of the fresh green growth, but don’t cut into the old woody stems. With enough sun and the right timing, you may be rewarded with another beautiful flush of blooms later in the season. 🌿💜

Don’t throw away that old sock 🧦🌿 Turn it into a hanging mint garden!

💧 Keep the paper towel damp, not soaked.
☀️ Give it bright, indirect light.
💨 Too much condensation? Open the bag briefly.
🌱 Check every few days and remove any soft stems.

Once the roots look healthy, move them to potting mix. 🪴

Don’t pour it down the drain just yet. 👀🪴

Some of the things already sitting in your kitchen can be reused for your houseplants. Pasta water, green tea, potato water, even cinnamon water… the trick is knowing which plants to pair them with.

Keep everything plain, cooled, and unsalted, and use it occasionally in place of regular watering, not as extra water.

Your bathroom might be the perfect place for these plants. 🌿💧 English Ivy, Peace Lily, and Boston Fern all love humid spaces and can take in some moisture from the air. They won’t replace proper ventilation, but they’ll definitely feel at home after a hot shower. 🚿🪴
