🎉🎂 HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY TO THE WOMAN WHO KEEPS GREATER BAY ELECTRIC RUNNING! 🎂🎉

Today we get to celebrate someone who means so much more to Greater Bay Electric than any job title could ever explain — our Director of Operations, Haley Ferris! 💚⚡️🧡

If you’ve ever called our office, received an email or text, had a permit pulled, an inspection scheduled, an appointment coordinated, paperwork handled, or wondered how all the moving pieces somehow come together… there’s a VERY good chance Haley was behind it. 😂

She is truly the backbone behind the scenes of Greater Bay Electric. She keeps our schedules organized, our customers taken care of, our technicians where they need to be, our permits and inspections moving, our marketing going, and about a million other things happening every single day.

But somehow, Greater Bay Electric is only one part of everything Haley manages.

Outside of being an incredible Director of Operations and working on her other business ventures, she is also a SUPER MOM to two amazing kids… plus a household that includes 2 cats, a dog, and SEVEN chickens. 😂🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓

And when she actually gets a chance to put the phone and computer down, you can usually find her spending time with her family, laying out in the Florida sunshine, or walking the beach looking for shells. 🐚🌊☀️

Today is especially meaningful because 30 marks another incredible chapter.

Donovan and Haley started their journey together 10 years ago, and looking back at everything that has happened during those ten years. Building a family, growing together, chasing dreams, starting businesses, overcoming challenges, and creating the life they have today-the growth has been incredible.

And there is absolutely no Greater Bay Electric without Haley and everything she pours into this company and our family every single day.

⚡️ WHAT’S HIDING INSIDE YOUR ELECTRICAL PANEL? ⚡️

Sometimes an electrical problem looks simple from the outside… until we open the panel. 👀

Today, we went out for what appeared to be a bad breaker causing a range to only receive 120V instead of the proper 240V. While troubleshooting, we found something much more important; corrosion and rust affecting the breakers, bus bar, and main connections inside the panel.

Replacing the bad breaker may solve the immediate problem, but it doesn’t address the bigger safety concern.

That’s why our technicians don’t just focus on “getting it working.” We look at the entire electrical system to determine what caused the issue and whether there are other concerns that could create problems down the road.

💍❤️ HAPPY 2ND ANNIVERSARY TO LEEVI & JADE! ❤️💍

Two years ago today, we were all at Margaritaville Beach House Key West watching two of our favorite people finally say “I do” on a beautiful Florida beach. 🌴🌊☀️

But their story started LONG before that day…

Leevi & Jade have been together since middle school. Growing up together, building a life together, and sticking by each other through every high, low, crazy idea, business venture, move, and everything else life has thrown their way. 😂❤️

If there is one thing we know about these two, it’s that they always have each other’s backs.

Leevi may be the double Master Electrician behind our PA & Florida businesses, but Jade has been beside him through all of it; supporting him, keeping him grounded, and being his partner in every sense of the word.

Over the years, they’ve become so much more than our business partners. They are some of our closest friends and truly family to us. We are incredibly grateful for their friendship, the memories we’ve made together, and everything we continue to build alongside one another.

Today is an exciting day for Greater Bay Electric because our business partners (and, more importantly, some of our closest friends and family) Leevi & Jade are back in town from Pennsylvania! 💙⚡️

For those who don’t know their story, Leevi holds his first Master Electrical License in Pennsylvania, where he runs a full-time electrical business specializing heavily in facility work throughout the state. When it comes to facility electrical, troubleshooting, code, and figuring out the complicated stuff, Leevi is truly one of the smartest people we know. The man knows electrical code like the back of his hand, and the knowledge and experience he brings to the table is something we are incredibly grateful for.

He later earned his Master Electrical License here in Florida, and from the beginning, Leevi and Jade have played a huge role in helping Greater Bay Electric become what it is today. Leevi has helped us expand our knowledge, build our facility division here in Florida, and continue pushing this company in directions we couldn't have imagined when we started.

But our relationship goes so much further than business. ❤️

Leevi and Jade are middle school sweethearts who have been together for 16 years and married for 2, and somewhere along this journey, our business partners became some of our closest friends and truly became family.

They live a pretty crazy life. Spending part of their time in Pennsylvania running their business and the other part here in Florida helping us grow Greater Bay Electric; and we don't take for granted the commitment that takes.
