Odie’s Oil on, check. Feet installed, check. Now to cure for a week.

Serving tray is made of Black Walnut, European Beech, Mahogany and Purple Heart and the dimensions are 24-1/2”x13”.

Claire’s cutting board is made of Hickory, Cherry, Maple, European Beech, Black Walnut and Purple Heart and the dimensions are 17-7/8”x11-1/8” and just over 1” thick. It’s also an edge grain board. She designed the board (drew it), selected the materials, milled them, glued it, hand scraped it, did all the sanding, rounded the corners, and oiled it.

Charcuterie Board is old growth Western Red Cedar and is already sold. Thanks Mark Farrow!

Selling some cutting boards I made in the summer & fall of 2022. I’m just getting back into creating and Claire & I will be making more cutting boards over the summer to raise $ for her senior class Disneyland trip. What you see here is Maple, Black Walnut, Cherry, Purple Heart, Mahogany and Hickory.

The 3 that are the same pattern are-
16”x 10-7/8”x3/4”. They are Cherry, Mahogany, Maple & Hickory. $55 each

The small one is a gift for friends so it’s not for sale but if you like it I’d be happy to make one.

The board with Purple Heart in the middle is- 12-1/4”x18”x7/8”. It is Maple, Black Walnut, & Purple Heart. $75

The large one with the Black Walnut strip up the middle is 12-1/4”x23”x1-1/8”. It is Cherry, Maple, Purple Heart, & Black Walnut. $125

All are finished with Odie’s Oil which is a oil designed for all sorts of wood products including cutting boards.

While making a bench I ran this old growth cedar through the planer to find this and couldn’t help but think it’d look good as a charcuterie board. Any of my fb friends interested in a $30 charcuterie board? 31”x9-1/2”x1-5/8”. It has a thin layer of Odie’s oil on it.

Proceeds to go to our youngest Claire’s upcoming senior class trip to Disneyland.

Working on a new board design. I‘ve found several designs that I like online (via photo) and rather than ordering a cad I’m trying to wing it. Hopefully this one turns out nice!

The original design for these is to be end grain but the wood is so much more pretty on edge I’ve elected to alter it to see what happens. Stay tuned! 😁

Kimberly brought these cardboard cutouts home after seeing them while visiting her sister and she offered them to Western Christian School for their Harvest Festival. But, they needed some support to stand. A little recycled cedar fencing later and p**f!
