n the last week we have worked on a partial re-landscaping of a very large 46 year old landscaping. We removed some old Azaleas and Rhododendrons near the front entryway, created a dry creak bed feature and re-bark dusted most of the grounds. All this for a large wedding reception event coming up this Saturday. I hope I programmed the irrigation correctly.

The Ammonium Sulfate worked!! We applied it on a job 5 days before our client had a party. They confirmed today that it had greened up considerable before their party.

Is it our imagination or is it greener already. On Monday we fertilized a lawn with Ammonium Sulfate and watered it in immediately. Thursday, the consensus is that it seems already greener! Could this be? There was not much growth yet but this will soon follow.

Has anyone seen my Garden Gnome? Several weeks ago at the "Tour of Homes New Product House", I had a display set up in the garage for visitors to pick up brochures concerning the landscaping. On this table was my Garden Gnome seemingly guarding the candy dish. Several days in a row he was hiding in different places in the garage and then..... I looked high and low and he was nowhere to be found. He is described as 12" tall wearing yellow and green clothes with a duck billed hat and yellow webbed shoes. "Come out come out where ever you are!".

This morning is July 4th and there is a unique connection between landscaping and this specific Holiday. I have in my hand stump remover. I'm not removing a stump for someone but actually making smoke bombs with my 11 year old son!
