Alert for RC flyers.

Be sure to check the FAA NOTAM posting for tomorrow covering eastern Connecticut and neighboring Rhode Island. As of now all RC flight will be prohibited from 9:00am until 2:30pm Wednesday May 20 within a 32nm radius of Groton-New London Airport.

Finally a warm sunny day without too much wind! Nice Tuesday turnout of new members, guests and of course the "regulars" for the entire day. Nice to see a great mix of aircraft from vintage glow power to modern electric flyers and or course a few bigger gassers to spice things up.

The need to fly took over! OK, maybe the need to be able to say "I flew in every month of 2025", who knows? These two were looking for company but managed to enjoy the chilly but generally calm air.
