We’ve been keeping busy here at Eric Hamlin Electric! Just finished up a great basement renovation in Essex. The customer was fantastic—gave us some creative freedom with the recessed lighting layout, and it turned out amazing!

Late night conduit runs and wire pulls

Got a call last night at 5pm saying their service was knocked off their house and national grid disconnected them all the way back to the pole. We were at their house by 5:30pm. By 9pm had the service reattached, the city inspector on sight, passed inspection and national grid called for the ok to reattach the service. 10am this morning got a text saying national grid put up new power lines and the customer had power back on.

Not always fun working in the cold and crazy wind gust on a Friday night but always worth it when you have a happy customer that got power back before most of their neighbors who have the same issue.

You can't be afraid of a little frozen ground. 40 foot underground feeder to a garage because the fence company hit the original while digging post holes last year.

On a side not welcome to the newest employee of Eric Hamlin Electric. Never thought I'd have my father working for me.
