It was an honor to attend St. Joe's opening ceremony service on Friday night. For the last three years, CBTWO has had the privilege of working alongside many at St. Joe's Parish, and together with FXG Construction and our consultant team. It was truly exciting to see the space filled with so many happy faces; we couldn't be prouder of the beautiful end result!

We kicked off our summer CBTWO Day in Neskowin with a stop by one of our very own residential projects — now complete and looking great. From there, it was on to Pacific City for lunch at the Pelican Brewery, followed by a quick climb to the top of the dunes to take in the view. A perfect day celebrating great work and an even better team.

Last Friday, the team kicked back for our annual summer BBQ — great food, good laughs, and a well-earned break from the workweek. It's always a nice reminder of how much fun it is to unwind together outside the office. Already looking forward to next summer's!

During the construction process, we occasionally visit a manufacturer's operation to review a fabrication before it is installed on a project.

Yesterday, we visited Plus Steel Fabricators to review a mock up of a lighting element for the Marion Parkade renovation. We'd like to thank T Plus Steel Fabricators for their excellent work on this project.

Yesterday we broke ground on Salem Academy's brand new high school, a project that was a decade in the making!
There's something special about standing on the site where a new school will rise, shaped by and for the Salem Academy community. You can't help but daydream about the positive influence the next generation of learners will have, locally and beyond. Spaces designed for collaboration, creativity, and connection are on the way.
Huge thanks to our partners who are making this possible: Rich Duncan Construction and all of their incredible trade partners, Freres Engineered Wood, KPFF Structural Engineers, everyone who showed up to mark this milestone with us, and of course, Salem Academy Christian Schools.
Here's to building something that lasts.

Yesterday, CBTWO staff toured the renovation of the main church building at Saint Joseph Catholic Parish. After a fire badly damaged the church in 2023, CBTWO was brought on to help restore the interior. Because of smoke damage, the entirety of the interior had to be removed and replaced. The design team has been very thoughtful in honoring the original interior and sacred art while carefully crafting details to ensure lighting, acoustics, artwork, and colors all work together. The restoration is projected to be complete later this summer.

On Friday our team traded the usual routine for a fun-filled team-building day! We started by volunteering at the Union Gospel Mission Thrift Store, adding a fresh coat of paint. Then we headed to Albany for an amazing food truck lunch and some friendly competition with virtual golf—where skills were… varied. But a good time was had by all!
