Yesterday we broke ground on Salem Academy's brand new high school, a project that was a decade in the making!
There's something special about standing on the site where a new school will rise, shaped by and for the Salem Academy community. You can't help but daydream about the positive influence the next generation of learners will have, locally and beyond. Spaces designed for collaboration, creativity, and connection are on the way.

Yesterday, CBTWO staff toured the renovation of the main church building at Saint Joseph Catholic Parish. After a fire badly damaged the church in 2023, CBTWO was brought on to help restore the interior. Because of smoke damage, the entirety of the interior had to be removed and replaced. The design team has been very thoughtful in honoring the original interior and sacred art while carefully crafting details to ensure lighting, acoustics, artwork, and colors all work together. The restoration is projected to be complete later this summer.

CBTWO is proud to support SLF and all they do in our community. We had a great lunch this afternoon hearing from them.

On Friday our team traded the usual routine for a fun-filled team-building day! We started by volunteering at the Union Gospel Mission Thrift Store, adding a fresh coat of paint. Then we headed to Albany for an amazing food truck lunch and some friendly competition with virtual golf—where skills were… varied. But a good time was had by all!

We are excited to be part of bringing new living options to Salem! The Cartwright brings new lifestyle possibilities near downtown Salem. Located near several parks and between central downtown and a single family residential neighborhood, the project includes 42 apartments including live/work options on the ground floor. The street facing facade is broken into vertical elements with gable roofs, relating to the surrounding neighborhood. These “boxes” are rotated slightly to orient to the views of Bush Park and the Willamette River giving Cartwright unique contextual architecture.
