Assist in plumbing for residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
• Participate in demolitions.
• Assist in digging and cleaning trenches for water, gas, waste and vent plumbing.
• Remove debris as needed.
• Assist in concrete work as it pertains to all plumbing scopes of work.
• Read blueprints and designs.
• Understand basic plumbing to assist in drilling, caulking and strapping of plumbing.
• Assist in traffic control as directed by the Plumber or Foreman.
• Assist in the installation of sewer, water, gas and storm drainpipes.
• Operate concrete jackhammers and earth tamper.
• Assist in operating pipe cutters and maintain equipment.
• Load and unload material.

- Inform Foreman of materials needed for the next two days of work.
- Check material and inform Foreman of any shorts or back ordered items.
- Be aware of what options are to go into each unit that is being plumbed.
- Insure that all work meets UPC / CPC standards.
- Insure that all work meets Quality Plumbing Associates, Inc. standards.
- Insure that all work meets Builders' standards and specifications.
- Never install our product over an inferior product. (Contact the Superintendent or Project Manager and inform them of the situation and get their approval to install our product over the inferior product. If they direct you to do the work, contact your Foreman to have a waiver of responsibility signed)
- Inspect your work prior to the Building Inspectors inspection to ensure you are ready.
- Ensure that all materials and equipment are stored and locked away securely and take all personal
tools home daily.
- All Plumbers will work as a Laborers when not performing the duties assigned as a Plumber.
- Maintain confidentiality of trusted company information
- Able to travel
