Mid-Sussex Dental Project Spotlight🦷 Georgetown, DE

After over 50 years in its original location, Mid-Sussex Dental recognized it was time to invest in a larger space, to meet the area's growing need for compassionate dental care.

The brand new +/- 6,000 sf dental office expands the practice capacity, with twelve patient exam rooms, a spacious reception area, modern design features and state-of-the-art technology.

The ground-up build was led by Gillis Gilkerson Project Manager David Erickson and Superintendent Brian Mason.

✨Transformation Tuesday✨Check out the Country Corners Market at N. Dover Baker Petroleum Exxon. A floor-to-ceiling refresh - with a wrap-around tile accent wall - has the space looking shiny and new!

Gillis Gilkerson team members Robin Steininger and Greg Fitzpatrick made sure the remodel was completed with a quick turnaround, without disrupting fuel stations or the adjacent restaurant.

Swipe👆 to view photos of Mariner Cosmetic Dentistry in Ocean Pines after expanding the practice into an adjacent space.

Gillis Gilkerson was involved in the project from its early stages, with GGI President Tyler Barnes assisting Dr. Mariner with pre-construction and design, and GGI Project Manager David Erickson and Superintendent Brian Mason leading the final build-out.

The expansion carefully integrated the two spaces with a unified floor plan, while tying in HVAC, plumbing and electrical. The waiting area was expanded and five new patient exam areas were created, along with a new wet lab and sterilization area.
