We are proud to recognize our Director of Marketing & Industry Affairs, Charley Meeks-Crystle, for participating in this morning’s *How Successful People Lead* panel, part of the Building Momentum Delmarva series presented by Pohanka Commercial in collaboration with the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce.

Charley joined an accomplished group of women leaders from across the Eastern Shore to share perspectives on leadership, career growth, overcoming challenges, and creating opportunities for the next generation.

From her leadership at Delaware Elevator to her involvement on the National Association of Elevator Contractors (NAEC) Board and Executive Committee, Charley continues to make an impact both within our organization and throughout the elevator industry.

We are proud to see her representing Delaware Elevator and sharing her experiences alongside so many inspiring women in our community!

What a great week in Chicago at the 2026 NAEC Annual Convention! 🛗

The Delaware Elevator team had an incredible time connecting with industry professionals, catching up with familiar faces, building new relationships, and seeing the latest advancements in the elevator industry!

We want to give a special congratulations to our very own Charley Meeks-Crystle, Director of Marketing & Industry Affairs, on stepping into her new role as Vice Treasurer of the NAEC Executive Committee! Charley is the youngest person ever elected to the NAEC Board of Directors and now the youngest to serve on its Executive Committee. We are proud of her leadership and dedication to our industry!

A huge congratulations also goes to DEM Elevating Equipment on winning Best Island Booth at this year’s convention! Their impressive exhibit and launch of the new DEM Product Design Guide were exciting highlights of the show.

It was also great connecting with the IDEC Elevator Products team and seeing the innovation, new products, and advancements being introduced across the industry.

From networking events and industry discussions to all the excitement on the show floor, our construction, safety, legal and sales teams had a great time!

We’re grateful for the relationships that make this industry so special and look forward to another great year of growth, collaboration, and opportunity.

Another successful Annual Service Meeting is in the books! 🛠️

Our 2026 meeting brought the Service team together for a full day of training, recognition and connection. Team members rotated through technical, safety and harassment prevention training before gathering for lunch and our general meeting.

Leadership shared updates on our continued growth and the changes happening across the company, while reinforcing what remains at the heart of our Service Department: providing the best possible service to our customers, both in the field and behind the scenes.

We were also proud to recognize team members who earned CET and AET certifications, celebrate Years of Service milestones, and honor several retirees for the many years of hard work and knowledge they’ve contributed to Delaware Elevator.

And, of course, we ended the day with some fun (and raffle prizes! 🎟️).

Thank you to everyone who helped make the day a success—and especially to our Service team for everything you do each day to keep our customers moving! 🛗

Our construction mechanics and temp mechanics recently came together at our Salisbury Training Center for a continuing education class focused on strengthening their skills and expanding their industry knowledge.

The training also included their annual CPR certification, helping ensure our teams are prepared to respond during an emergency. We’re proud of everyone who continues to invest in their professional growth and the safety of those around them!

This past weekend, the Delaware Elevator team gathered at WinterPlace Park in Salisbury for our annual Summer Picnic! ☀️

This event is always special because it gives our employees the opportunity to relax, spend time together outside of work and enjoy the day with their families. We shared plenty of good food, delicious local crabs from Skipjack’s Seafood, raffles, games and lots of great company.

This year, we were also joined by Diamond In The Ruff Rescue Inc. and Cedarcrest Homestead Foster Tails & Kitten Rescue who brought several puppies and cats looking for their forever homes. Their visit was truly the highlight of the day! We have some serious animal lovers on our team, and we are thrilled that one lucky puppy went home with a new family (and another potential) and several applications were submitted for cats. 🐶🐱

Thank you to both rescue organizations for spending the day with us and for the incredible work you do in our community.

We couldn’t have asked for a better day of food, family, fun and togetherness! 🫶

Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the first responders who ran toward danger to help others.

We are forever grateful for their courage, sacrifice and service. May we always remember the strength that brought our country together and continue to stand proudly united as Americans.

We will never forget.

🌀 Hurricane season impacts more than just Florida; our new blog, Elevated Insights, is here to tell you all about it!

While hurricane preparedness is especially important across our Florida markets, the same precautions apply to the coastal communities we serve throughout the Mid-Atlantic, from the Delaware and Maryland beaches through Virginia and the Carolinas.
