Summer isn’t over yet, but the season in Ocean City is beginning to wind down as families head home and prepare for a new school year. 🌊✏️

Last week, technicians from our Service Department met at the Delaware Elevator Training Center in Salisbury, Maryland, for the first “Fault Finders Club” class, marking the start of next-level circuitry and troubleshooting training for our team.

When we say our technicians are the best, we want to believe it, and that means investing in their continued growth. Through hands-on training and advanced technical education, we are helping our technicians strengthen their foundation, sharpen their troubleshooting skills, and accelerate their careers in the elevator industry.

Shoutout to our Service Operations Manager, Kyle C. for spearheading this initiative.

Delaware Elevator was proud to participate in Wicomico County Public Schools' CREW Program for the fourth consecutive year!

CREW, which stands for Career, Research, Education and Work, provides rising 10th, 11th and 12th grade students with six-week paid work experiences while helping them build workplace communication and other essential career skills.

This summer, we welcomed Victoria Merritt, a rising 11th grader at Bennett High School and a Project Lead the Way pre-engineering student. During her time with Delaware Elevator, Victoria gained hands-on experience with our Safety and Fleet teams and shadowed our Engineering Coordinators.

Joellyn (HR) and Georgeta (Safety) recently joined Victoria at Parkside CTE for a luncheon celebrating the students’ successful completion of the program.

We are proud to support programs that introduce local students to new career opportunities and invest in the future of our community. Congratulations, Victoria!

This week, our employees rolled up their sleeves during our annual blood drive with the Blood Bank of Delmarva at Delaware Elevator’s Corporate Office.

Because one blood donation can save up to three lives, these donors could potentially help save up to 75 lives! That is an incredible impact made possible by employees who were willing to give a little of their time to help patients in need.

Delaware Elevator is proud to host this blood drive each year and support the lifesaving work of the Blood Bank of Delmarva. Thank you to everyone who donated and helped make this year’s drive a success! ❤️🩸
