Hillside project. Working with a broken toe. Great clients. I think the best part of doing this work outside of artistic growth is meeting and establishing good relationships with people. That’s my favorite part of the warranty plan . I get to see them every year when I check on their patio.

Contorted Filbert along with a Red Dragon Contorted Filbert. Major score at the nursery. Also this Fire Maple. Another huge score. When the leaves fall you get these beautiful red stocks to admire all winter.

This is a porcelain patio set on permeable concrete. Even the joints between the stones are permeable. It’s new hardscape technology by Romax called Trass Bedding systems. That patio can withstand an 8000 pound load. There is 1 foot of 3/4” gravel underneath with a drainage system that taps into the downspouts and footing drains. This patio will outlive a Scottish wall.
