The Laub family’s longstanding connection to Utah State University has grown alongside Cache Valley Electric’s roots in Logan. Both reflect a commitment to hard work, service, and investing in future generations.

Earlier this month, we gathered for our 23rd annual Employee Recognition Banquet to honor 106 team members representing 1,535 combined years of service.

In construction, that kind of commitment stands out. It reflects a culture where people can build lasting careers, not just move from project to project.

Good food, great people and plenty of CVE pride.

Our 2026 SLC BBQ Cookout brought CVE employees together over wings, brisket, jalapeño poppers and everything BBQ. Thanks to everyone who fired up the grills and made it a great afternoon!

Progress is taking shape on our new warehouse in Salt Lake City with concrete pads being poured, tilt-up wall forms being set, and sacrificial pads now in place as the site prepares for the next major phase of construction.

Exciting to see this project rise from the ground up.

Few signs in the world carry as much history as the Whisky a Go Go marquee on Sunset Boulevard. CVE recently completed electrical work on the iconic sign, including new power distribution, LED sign power and control, sign controllers, backlighting, and building-to-controller communications. Proud of the team for taking care of a piece of rock and roll history.
