Needing an Experienced Customer Service Representative (CSR) - Plumbing, Drains and HVAC

Salt City Plumbing, Heating & Air, a trusted provider of plumbing and HVAC services, seeks an experienced Customer Service Representative.
Job Summary
We're looking for a skilled CSR to deliver exceptional support, addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues and promoting services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, industry knowledge and a customer-centric mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email and chat regarding plumbing, heating and cooling services.
Schedule service appointments, maintenance and installations.
Resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
Provide product and service information (e.g., HVAC systems, water heaters, plumbing repairs).
Process payments, credits and refunds.
Dispatch technicians efficiently, optimizing routes and scheduling.
Communicate service updates, delays or changes to customers.
Collaborate with technicians, sales and operations teams.
Stay updated on industry trends, products and services.
Meet or exceed customer satisfaction and performance targets.
Requirements
2+ years of customer service experience in the plumbing, HVAC or construction industry.
High school diploma or equivalent required
Excellent communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of plumbing and HVAC principles or ability to quickly learn.
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office and dispatch systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with plumbing/HVAC industry software a plus (e.g., Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Jobber )
Schedule and Work Environment
This is an on-site position at our Salt Lake office.
Regular schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Participation in rotating on-call schedules (evenings, weekends and holidays) for emergency customer support.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
