Taking delivery of the first two next-gen Cat 140 LVR Graders was a world-class experience from start to finish. It is a true privilege for our father-and-son ownership team, Rory and Billy, to operate the very first limited-edition Centennial Gray Cat 140 motor graders to be released anywhere globally.

Caterpillar completely redesigned this machine from the ground up, merging the heavy muscle of the proven 140M platform with modern excavator operator comfort, advanced GPS machine control, and mining-level electronics. The combination of the historic 1925 gray paint scheme and vintage red branding, paired with the classic box style cab and precision piano key controls, makes these machines an operator's dream. When CAT brought back those controls, Grade Tech was the first ones to get them.

They fused the muscle of the proven 140M platform with advanced operator visibility, a low-maintenance sealed circle bearing design, and deeply integrated 3D GPS machine control.

First job, first deployment, history in the making.
Billy putting No. 301, one of the first limited-edition Centennial Gray Cat motor graders in the world, to work on its very first job site.

This machine throws it back to Caterpillar’s original 1925 gray paint scheme and classic red logo, but under the hood, it is pure modern production. Billy is utilizing the classic box style cab and precision piano key controls to deliver the exact technical accuracy our utility infrastructure clients expect.
