There’s big… and then there’s 35 FEET OF STEEL big. 😮‍💨

Earlier this month, the TRITEX crew took on the installation of this massive 35’ custom gate for the Texas A&M Agricultural Center — and getting it built was only half the battle.

This thing is HEAVY. No machine simply dropping it perfectly into place. It took manpower, communication, strategy, and a whole lot of coordination to hand-carry this beast and carefully lift it into the tracks. With something this long and this heavy, every person has a job, every movement matters, and everyone has to move together.

It’s the part of custom fabrication you don’t always see: figuring out HOW to safely install something this massive after you’ve built it.

A project this big doesn’t happen in one step. 👏

This is just a mashup of some of the moving parts that went into bringing this massive ornamental iron fence and 35-FOOT rolling gate to life — from fabrication and welding to hauling, setting, installing, and everything in between.
And believe it or not, there were SO many parts of this build we didn’t even get on camera.

This video barely scratches the surface of the manpower, planning, equipment, skill, and coordination it takes to pull off a project of this size.
