Dead citrus tree removal, Red Tip Photinia (Photinia x fraseri) pruning, and w**d eating.

Red Tip Photinia is a nonnative species from Japan that is very commonly seen here in Texas as a part of backyard landscapes. It can be highly invasive if not controlled, so if you have the choice of planting other native shrubs it is best to do so. In many cases these attractive, fast growing, evergreen shrubs are chosen for their value as privacy bushes in suburban neighborhoods.

This Chinese Tallow tree was growing too low over the driveway and over the street and sidewalk and had some large deadwood that could be potentially dangerous.
The tree was pruned in order to avoid damage to vehicles parked in the driveway, ensure the safety of the homeowner, and provide proper clearance for traffic of the sidewalk and street.
The canopy was uplifted and balanced, deadwood was removed, and the interior was lightly thinned to allow for proper sun and wind pe*******on and improve the health of the tree.

Leaning Chinaberry removal. A large lead on this Chinaberry was leaning towards the house and needed to be removed. This is a fast growing tree that is prone to breakage, so a large lead leaning towards the home is a concern. The Chinaberry tree, Melia azedarach, is an invasive species in Texas. Eventually, the entire multistemmed tree will need to be removed. It was not removed all at once in order to avoid scorching the smaller noninvasive trees growing in it's shade.
