JPs Stone Cold Bevels My names JP and ive been sharpening knives by whetstone for over 4 years now, and working with blades of different shapes and sizes since I was a wee tike!

Right now JPS stone cold bevels is a one man operation in need of more clientele! I perform my sharpenings in my home but do most of my exchanges out of the UPS store i work at in leon springs. this allows for your knifes to be picked up at one of 2 convenient locations or even shipped directly back to your door! Yesterday I decided to sit down with one of my own prized possessions and return it back to its former glory. this is a Kukri hand crafted in Nepal out of 1095 carbon spring steel and I've put it through hell, its chopped down trees, split logs and been bashed into concrete. Poor thing was rusted, chipped and dulled beyond belief but after a couple hours of tender love and care its looking shiny, polished, razor sharp and sexy as hell. This is what I do guys. check out this folder in D2 tool steel. D2 is notoriously tough to sharpen, but i made quick work of it. took me about 25 minutes to get to tip top shape. The results speak for themself.

unfortunately i dont have a before photo for this machete, but before i got my hands on it, the first taper before the bevel was all rusted up and led to a bevel that was chipped, bent and practically non existent. I was able to remove all of the rust, put on a whole new bevel, and polished it up to perfection.

Welcome to JPS Stone Cold Bevels FB page! Im just one guy with a nice set of whetstones, determined to use my skills and know how to make a living keeping your bladed tools in tip top shape for a fair price. For $30 an hour ill take anything with a blade, be it rusted, chipped, bent, scratched, you name it, and return in to peak performance condition for you. The more beat up the blade, the longer it takes, but simple sharpenings on decent condition knifes can take me as little as 20 minutes.
