Out today wrapping up upgrading a customers 15-20 year old irrigation system.
Customer called stated they had a zone that ran when the other zones would come on.

We went out inspected the system and rebuilt the zone valve to operate correctly again. Then we went through the system marking all the heads needing replaced. We found 31 heads needing replaced and 10 nozzles needing replacement.

We replaced the rotors with hunter i20’s with check valves
Spray heads with rainbird 1804 Sam checks
And spray nozzles with rainbird adjustable van nozzles.
We also had to locate 6 lost valves on the system that were buried under several
Inches of sod and soil.

Just wrapped up a job for a customer, they were having all kinds of electrical issues. I came out and began troubleshooting and repairing valves. After several hours of troubleshooting tracing the wire path, using the ground fault locator and repairing faults, breaks, knicks and everything else we decided to just run new electrical to each valve. 175’ later everything is up and running like the day it was installed 30 years ago. After speaking with the customer they told me they’ve had multiple people out trying to get the system working right for the last 2 years, and no one has been able to get it done. They were happy to finally have it fixed. They also said they were happy to finally find someone who knows what he is doing!

We’ve been a bit busy here at Priority 1 Lawn Care LLC the last couple weeks!
Custom installs in Beorne, and another in the TPC and JW Marriott area. Had some rain delays on both, the rain did not help which made for some muddy situations on both installs.
Had our final inspection from the city today and they gave us the blessing to finish covering everything up.

Side note: Inspector gave a confidence boost for me and said this was one of the best installs and designs he’s seen in a while.
I’m sure he tells all the Irrigators that!! 🤣🤣.

Priority 1 is out today taking care of some repairs for several customers with its top irrigation tech in training today!!

Got to use my new toy today! Armada GFL 3000. Got to use several others as well but this was the new one.
Customer called said her irrigation system wasn’t working. I showed up tested a few things and broke out the GFL 3000 within 5 minutes I found the issue. Dug up the area and the issue was right were the GFL said it was. Common wire was pretty chewed up causing the fault not allowing the zones to kick on. We repaired it and then tested it and everything came on and worked just as it should.
Customer was thrilled her irrigation was back on and so was I (with my new tool).
