Every spring our senior economics students participate in the Stock Market Game. Each investment team is given $100,000 to invest however they choose and compete against other teams throughout the state. The team that ends with the highest overall value in their investment portfolio after 12 weeks, wins. This simulation teaches students about the stock market, risk levels of different types of investments and why investment is important for retirement savings. This year we had a team place 2nd out of 522 teams in our region. They placed 16th out of 3645 teams in the state. Congratulations to Gavin Coleman, Deion Farias, John Real and Jocob Waclawczyk!
