This is one method we use to help protect thresholds during construction: a foam cushion beneath our protection tape. For sliding doors, we also add a wood platform over the protected tracks.
Before installation, we review the door schedule to understand the door types, sizes, and locations so we can plan the appropriate protection for each opening.
