"WORD of the DAY for SONday"
The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

The Inspiration:
God knows our hearts and carefully listens as we cry out to Him in times of trouble. Daily stresses mount as we move through our routine, yet, we find comfort in our moment-by-moment conversations with our Heavenly Father.

How many times a day do we pray? It's impossible to number the moments we seek His guidance and comfort as we engage in continuous conversation with Him.

He knows us by name and understands our struggles. He is always present and willing to instruct our daily steps.

My Prayer:
Dearest Heavenly Father, We find comfort in our daily conversations. You are present in our lives every moment and reassure us with Your steadfast love.

Exterior Painting
A two day, one man job, with Me, myself and I!
First had to remove all the patio furniture. Then cleaned, scrubbed and washed the floors, walls and ceiling.
Once it dried, cut in all the areas of both the ceiling and the floor before closing out day one.
And followed it up with day two, by rolling the rest, cleaning up and getting paid.
My client was very pleased with my work and wants me to return to do some other work inside the house.
Another satisfied customer.
I love my job!

We've finished yet another 65 feet 📏 of fencing yesterday (Tuesday) in just 2 days & 14 hours total man hours ⏰ each 👫👬
My Rookie "2 Live Crew" 👫 & my one and only son 👦 are on a roll babyyyyyyyy! Thank you Lord 👑
I would've posted 📌 these yesterday but after having a few cold ones 🍺🍻 with my new customers & now friends (& FB) 👪👫👭 & having to deal with that crazy hot 🔥 sun 🌞 for the last 2 days ⛅
I went straight home 🏠 & passed out 😴, dirty & all, while sitting on the couch. I'm talking a deep deep sleep 💤💤 like "Sleeping Beauty", LOL! 😂

So we're taking the day off today ⛅. I've been over here @ my parent's 💑 home since this morning 🏠 eating breakfast 🍳 🍵 & just catching up with them both. I love my Mommy 👵 & Daddy 👴 with every breath I take 💗

I have a bid ✏ 📋 or 2 to go make today as well. Plus another neighbor down the street from Alex & Andrew, might want us to go by his home 🏠 as well because he's selling it & would like to have a new fence 🚧🚧 in his backyard as well 👍
Just need to keep staying busy & keep passing down my experience 📅 & knowledge 📚 to my son & daughter who are eager to learn this most awesome trade 📐✏🔧🔩📏📋🏠

Went Saturday 📆 (Aug. 23rd) with Andrew to single handedly pick out all the materials needed to start & complete Phase 1 😉
So here we go! At it again today! 😉 The neighbor of my good friend that we just recently completed installing both sides of his privacy fence. 🚧 last week 📅 Requested that we return & do his other side, so he has matching fences 🚧🚧 in his backyard as well 👍
So I brought out my Rookie "2 Live Crew" 👫 & my one & only son 👦 to do it all over again. And we knocked down, demolished, removed & dumped an entire 55 foot 📏 fence 🚧 , gate & all the posts with the old cement as well 😥
Re-dug the 9 original holes & 1 new one, deeper & wider than before. Placed new posts in them with 75 pounds 💪 of cement in each. Braced them both plumb & leveled overnight 🌒 for curing.
Then tomorrow, weather permitting ⛅ ☔ we'll finish it up with new nailers, fencing panels, a gate & decorative toppers 🚧🚧
So proud of my crew working through that crazy heat 🔥 today, but we did & we Rocked & Rolled 🎤🎼🎸🎶🎹🎵🎷 babyyyyyyyy 😎 while keeping very hydrated 💧 with cold H2O.

( Phase 4-5) August 15 & 18, 2016.
Worked 7 hours yesterday with just my new "2 Live Crew!" "My Chocolate Bar of LOVE" :-) & our friend Dev, from up North.
Both are inexperienced. They are 3 days into their OJT (On the Job Training), but are having a blast learning something new. Plus they both are fast learners & are made for this kind of work. My baby is a natural, like her daddy. She's My Mini-Me in more ways than one, that's for sure.
I wanted to finish it all but I got to go back today to build the new gate/door & fill up the back of my truck for the 3rd & last time to dump all the debris & to drag all my tools back home too.
My buddy's neighbor is extremely happy as you can see in a couple of the pics, peeking over the fence. He wants me to do his other side of the fence so it all looks good in his backyard too. Plus he needs a good, sturdy, rigid & strong fence to keep his 2 huge pit bulls in his yard.
I'll be off to work soon, solo this time.

(Phase 3) August 14, 2016.
Day 3 & only got my one & only son 👦 & my Cuz with me today. And it's hot as, " you know what!" 😈🔥
We're basically repeating Phase 1, because it's time ⏰ to start the other side of the fence 🚧 that has the gate.
Got the entire fence 🚧 torn down, the old posts & cement removed, half of it loaded in the back of my truck 🚚 for dumping & got the new holes dig deeper⬇& wider ↔ with the new posts plumbed, leveled 📐 & cemented as well.
I got all the boards knocked out on my own & my son, Hercules 💪 was able to pull some of the posts out with the cement attached without having to dig them out 👀👍
We got it all done in 7 hours ⏰ of hard work 💼 🌞

The day 🌞 after that crazy unexpected hail storm ☔ ⚡ was a muddy mess, but we worked through it for our longest day of work thus far this week ⏰
I have a couple of helpers in training. "My Chocolate Bar 🍫 of LOVE 💘" & her friend Devon 👫 who are naturals @ this kind of work & fast learners 💡 & my regulars, my one & only son 👦 & my Cuz.
Got 55 feet 📏 totally completed on that muddy Wednesday 📆 & yesterday got the other 55 feet 📏 removed & prepped (posts in; leveled; plumbed & braced) to be completed today ⛅
It's gonna be a "Great Day 🌞 SA"! Plus it's FRIDAY! 👍

Bought half the materials yesterday (Aug. 11th) 📅 & started today ⏰
We are totally removing & replacing 110 feet of old, warped, twisted, rotted & poorly constructed and installed fencing 🚧 that's only 8 years old 📅
The posts were only about 16 inches 📏 deep ⬇ & 12 inches 📏 wide ↔ & with maybe 25 pounds 🙈 of cement in a cone-shape 🔻 holding them in 👎
I reinstalled them in holes 18-20 inches 📏 deep ⬇ & 16-18 inches 📏 wide ↔ & with 75 pounds 💪 of cement in a flat bottomed cylinder shape 🔳 instead 👍 The way their supposed to be erected ✔ for rigidity, strength 💪 & longevity ⏳
Got my one & only son, "My Chocolate Bar 🍫 of LOVE 💘", my Cuz & Ashley's friend Devon helping out on this 3-4 day contact job for a good family 👪 friend of ours 👫👬👭

It all starts with an idea first. Then a brainstorm session. A collaborating of ideas that both the client(s) desires & my own suggestions & recommendations before finalizing the blueprint.
I love being a carpenter. It gives me the ability to use all my God given talents, which are many.

In art, design, drawing, sketching, architecture, woodworking, woodcraft, creativity, handling tools, working with my hands & using the right side of my brain, as well as my left.

It's always a labor of LOVE because it's what I love to do. My first love. My father taught me the trade & now I'm passing it on to my one & only son as well. And I give all the Glory to God because he has bestowed upon me so many gifts that I have shared and used throughout my entire life.

I built this 14ft. long, 9ft. high and 2ft. wide combo custom closet & cabinet, permanently affixed into the walls & ceiling of the room, with 4 metal hanger rods, 2 permanent shelves, 8 adjustable shelves & plenty of storage in the above space spanning the entire room, consisting of over 250 cubic square feet of storage.

After texturing both the kitchen & the kitchen dining areas, it was time to clean up, primer the texture & paint with 3 colors (blue, brown & eggshell shades).
After completing the kitchen. Took on the adjoining 4ft.x6ft., hallway leading to the garage, the laundry room & the half bathroom. First had to remove most the existing trim, repair a large hole in the wall, primer everything & then complete by applying the new paint.
