🚨 Cold Weather Tip for Heat Pump Homeowners 🚨 ❄️

With temps dropping into the 20s this week, heat pumps can struggle to keep up — especially older systems.

A few things homeowners should know:
• Heat pumps pull heat from outside air, and the colder it gets, the harder they have to work
• Below ~30°, many systems rely on auxiliary / emergency heat to maintain indoor comfort
• If your system is running constantly and still not warming the house, that’s a sign it’s hitting its limit
• Switching to EM HEAT during extreme cold can help maintain temperature, but it uses more electricity
• Frozen outdoor units, short cycling, or lukewarm air are signs you should get it checked

If you’re not sure whether your system is set correctly or can handle the cold, it’s better to address it before it stops keeping up.

Customer contacted me and after our consultation and hearing there comfort needs they decided on a 18 seer variable speed communicating system with comfort bridge technology to ensure the entire system works at peak and energy -efficient performance. Coupled with a reme halo whole air purification system and high efficient media filters. They completely upgraded and we also converted there electric heat system to a heatpump. Hello friends and family here are some pics from our latest install job.Homeowner advised me that home is only 5 years old and they have had problems since day 1. I offered three different options and quotes ....good repair,better repair, and best repair. They went with new airhandler to take advantage of manufacturers warranty.Unit is working and cooling home better then ever! (And yes original unit was installed backwards 😟😟
