CCC Group is proud to have been a part of the NRG Limestone Electric Generating Station’s annual Fall Fest earlier this month where NRG employees, contractors, vendors and retirees came together for a chili and dessert cook-off, a silent auction, and a 50/50 raffle.

The annual event raises money for the Limestone Project Employees’ Fund, a nonprofit supporting local food pantries, holiday food boxes, and Christmas for children and families in need across Limestone County.

CCC Group donated several items to the silent auction, and we’re happy to say they were a hit. The event keeps growing every year. This year’s highlights included 17 chili entries and more than $22,000 raised for families in Limestone County.
A big thank-you to the NRG Limestone team for hosting and including contractors in the event. As employee-owners, all of us at CCC Group take pride in supporting the communities where we live and work, and we’re grateful for the relationship we’ve built with NRG at Limestone.

Building Strategic Partnerships. Creating Opportunities. Driving Sustainable Growth.

CCC Group continues to explore innovative ways to bring greater value to our clients and expand our impact across the industrial construction market.

Recently, our leadership team traveled to Beijing, China, to meet with CBMI Construction Co., Ltd., a global engineering and EPC contractor specializing in the cement industry. The two-day visit provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen our relationship, align capabilities, and explore how we can combine CBMI’s engineering, equipment, and procurement expertise with CCC Group’s more than 30 years of cement industry construction experience.

Our discussions focused on a current confidential client opportunity in the United States and the potential to develop a comprehensive, integrated project delivery approach. Just as importantly, we explored how this collaboration could establish a repeatable framework for future opportunities in the United States.

At CCC Group, we believe sustainable growth comes from more than pursuing individual projects. It comes from building the right partnerships, engaging early, leveraging our core strengths, and continually finding better ways to serve our clients.

We’re actively exploring multiple strategic pathways to achieve repeatable, sustainable growth - and we’re just getting started.

CCC Group was proud to participate for the second consecutive year in the Alltricity Network 2026 Fall Convention in San Antonio, Texas. This year’s theme was “Welcome to the Wild, Wild Grid: Big challenges. Big ideas. Texas-sized conversations.” The event brought together industry leaders and subject matter experts to discuss some of the issues shaping the future of the electric power industry, including AI, technology, major projects, workforce development, lessons learned, and regulatory challenges.

Just as important as the educational sessions were the opportunities to connect with the people working through these challenges every day. Alltricity brings together a diverse cross-section of the industry, including utilities, cooperatives, municipalities, generation and transmission organizations, public power, engineering and consulting firms, manufacturers, and other service providers.

Additionally, the Alltricity Scholarship Foundation Auction raised more than $32,000 for student scholarships this year and CCC Group was pleased to support the auction by donating an exclusive South Texas Hunting Experience at La Santa Cruz Ranch. This is a great opportunity to support the next generation of industry professionals while creating some memorable conversations along the way.

For CCC Group, events like this are about listening, learning, and building relationships. The more we understand the challenges facing our customers and the industry as a whole, the better we can connect our capabilities to practical solutions that help projects succeed. Thank you to the Alltricity Network for creating an environment where industry professionals can share ideas, exchange experiences, and work together to move the industry forward.

When you deliver today, you earn the opportunity to build tomorrow!

CCC Group was proud to participate as a first-year participant in the 2026 Black & Veatch Subcontractor & Supply Chain Summit at the Black & Veatch World Headquarters in Overland Park, Kansas.

This was no ordinary industry conference. It was an invitation-only event with a select group of subcontractors and supply chain partners brought together to connect, collaborate, and better understand the needs of the broader Black & Veatch organization.

For CCC Group, the invitation was particularly meaningful because it followed the successful ex*****on and delivery of our Modular Cable Tray Rack project. The project provided an opportunity to demonstrate what CCC Group can do - and that performance helped open the door to a much broader relationship.

Over two action-packed days, we participated in networking events, one-on-one meetings, and candid conversations with senior leaders and professionals across multiple Black & Veatch market sectors. We came away with a better understanding of the challenges they are facing, where the industry is heading, and—most importantly- where CCC Group may be able to bring meaningful value.

For us, this wasn't simply about pursuing the next project. It was about building relationships, understanding needs, solving problems, and finding the right ways to help bring Black & Veatch projects to life.

It was also rewarding to put names and faces together with many of the people we have been communicating with for months and begin strengthening those relationships in person.

The CCC Group delegation was led by JR Karbowski, MBA, PMP, PSP Karbowski, Vice President Business Development; Alvaro Tijerina, Vice President Operations; and Jason Salazar, Division Manager FMH (Fabrication, Machining & Hydraulics).

A sincere thank you to the Black & Veatch Subcontracts and Supply Chain team for the invitation and for creating an environment that genuinely encouraged collaboration and partnership.

The lesson for CCC Group is simple: exceptional ex*****on creates trust. Trust creates relationships. And strong relationships create opportunities.

During a recent targeted safety walk on a project, our client asked to review the job's risk assessment. CCC Group crew member, Herminio Aguilar had prepared the assessment and walked through it in detail with his team. The client was impressed by how thoroughly the job had been thought through and by the detail of planning involved.

Following the client recognition, CCC Group’s Alvaro Tijerina (left), Vice President of Operations and Humberto Terrazas (right), Project Manager, presented Herminio with our Above & Beyond Gold Coin Award for outstanding safety leadership, job planning, attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

Congratulations, Herminio! Thank you for your expertise in identifying hazards and giving our crews a clear plan to control them. We want to make sure for every project, we arrive safe, work safe and go home safe.

CCC Group is pleased to announce that John Matejek, known as “Bubba John” to his colleagues and friends, has been promoted to Regional Manager of the Florida Regional Office.

Having joined CCC Group more than three decades ago, John Matejek is a founding member of the office that he now leads. “CCC Group’s legacy of mentoring and providing opportunities to its employees has allowed me to grow in my career, and I hope to lay that same groundwork for others,” explained Matejek.

When asked about his leadership style, Matejek replied, “I love partnering with teams to deliver great work.
