Info for the services for Randy Lupe.

Randy was a part of the San Carlos SWFF program under the Bureau of Indian Affairs - San Carlos Agency and most recently the DOI U.S. Wildland Fire Service-Unit 6. His career spanned nearly 30 years of service as a seasonal A.D. camp crew member on many wildland fire assignments throughout the Western U.S. alongside his fellow crewmembers. The number of SWFF members and IMTs he worked along and for are too many to count. Randy loved going on fire assignments and enjoyed the adventure and camaraderie of the crews he was assigned to. Evident by the countless pictures , souvenirs, and stories of memories he shared of all the forests, towns, and states he had worked in over the years. He enjoyed sharing the job knowledge and duties to the new crewmembers who joined the program and always welcomed them. Randy was someone who spoke up when something needed to be said if it wasn’t right to him, this was his way of looking out for the crew and finding a solution. One important thing to note, was his faith and belief in God. He wasn’t afraid to profess that and would routinely pray for the crews he was working on. Randy’s laughter, quotes, experience, and presence will be greatly missed moving forward. Please keep his family, friends, and fellow camp crewmembers in prayer.

Attendees are encouraged to wear their crew shirt or a maroon colored shirt to his funeral services.
