A few photos from the Ola Vista masterpiece we worked on with the Legends .cdm . This was such a fun project to work on . Really turned out beautiful. Feeling very fortunate to be able to work with some of the best builders in San Clemente . These guys are always generous with their time. It makes me a better contractor to learn from guys like . So very grateful to have the opportunity to work in my hometown with some amazing mentors.

We know having a landscape or pool project next door can sometimes be a hassle—early start times, trucks parked on the street, and the noise of machinery. That’s why when we finish a job, we drop off a car detailing gift certificate for the neighbors as a thank-you for their patience. 🚗✨

🌱 PARTNERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT! 🌱
We’re beyond excited to announce that Organics Out Back is officially partnering with the incredible team at to elevate our Edible Gardens Division to bold new heights. 💥

For years, we’ve dreamed of expanding access to clean, nutrient-dense food—grown right in people’s backyards. While our landscape division has seen explosive growth, it’s also meant we haven’t been able to give our edible side the time, focus, and love it truly deserves.

That all changes today.

This partnership brings us full circle: Warren—the Commander in Leaf at Earthworks—actually got his start working with us here at Organics Out Back. Since then, he’s built an incredible brand and community around the clean food movement, and we couldn’t be more proud to now join forces again. 🙌

Together, we’re on a mission to:
🥕 Bring regenerative, organic edible gardens to more homes across OC

I have no idea who lives at this house but it used to be an amazing old guy name Mr. Contino . My dad did this landscape project probably 25 years ago . It was my first time being on a big job like this with my dad. It made me fall in love with this type of work. I realized (at 16years old ) a few things about this industry. There will always be highs and lows like any industry but if you position yourself just right, build a referral network and grind hard it can be a very lucrative means of employment. The greatest part is that every project is different, new challenges arise in every job, you are constantly meeting new people and you are always in different places . It was a perfect job with my ADHD brain . Fast forward 25 years and is in year 16 and counting . Cheers to my team, some have been here for the entire ride, this dream isn’t possible without a full team effort . Love you guys .

The most central and darkest part of a shadow is called an umbra. If you aim a light source directly at an object, the blackest portion of the shadow directly behind the object is the umbra of the shadow.

When illuminating a project the shadows are just as important as the light . Creating a mood and not an airport runway is the key to a tight lighting job .

I tend to choose plants that allow light to permeate the canopy or leaf structure to allow the light AND shadow to create a story.

Fire table with a view. We have been building our fire tables like this for years because I never liked having only 8” of usable space around the perimeter . We build them like this so the larger portion could be used for a cheese plate,bottle(s) of wine or appetizers or a s’more platter for kids. We also seal them so when the inevitable glass of red wine that spills doesn’t stain the stucco . It’s all about the little details baby !!!! We are bringing in the H-but we and tumbled lava to finish this beauty up. This was a fun project with the boys .cdm

I love working in Rivi . We have completed 7 projects in there and it might be my favorite location in South West San Clemente . The Shores and Cove also have a special place in my heart but there’s just something about Rivi that is so magical.

This project was fun for a number of reasons . The clients are staples of the Rivi community and an all around wonderful family. I had fun collaborating with them .
