Forklift & Building Materials Operator - $500 Hiring Bonus!-01016149
Description
Now hiring for experienced forklift operators at our Stockton Distribution Center. This will be for our 2nd shift 3 p.m. -11 p.m.
Under the direction of the Site Operations Manager and designated Shift Leads, this position is responsible for all activities associated with the movement and handling of materials related to the warehouse.
What we offer:
$500 Hiring Bonus pays out following 90 days of successful employment with Weyerhaeuser (Successful employment includes but is not limited to-no disciplinary actions and attendance issues).
2nd shift Differential pay (in addition to base pay)
Forklift training provided
Full-time benefits available 1st of the month following your start date
Key Responsibilities
Takes responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others by addressing any unsafe practices observed.
Wears all personal protective equipment required.
Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to designated area
Accurately counts and documents shipping and receiving activities
Pulls and prepares products for shipment
Accurately counts units, multiplies, add, subtracts, and records, totals
Strong customer service orientation
Willing to be exposed to constant vibration from machinery
Able and willing to work on equipment at extended heights
Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Forklift operator experience preferred.
Strong planning and organization skills.
Ability to work within a team to solve problems and complete tasks.
Able and willing to perform the essential job functions of this position such as working at heights, climbing stairs, working in extreme heat or cold, or working in confined/restricted spaces.
Must be able to work overtime as needed by the business.
Experience working in a team environment (e.g. cooperating with co-workers, joint problem solving, etc.).
Minimum of 2 years working warehouse operations experience preferred.
