Framing is the next step after the foundation cures. These photos show the progress of the framing. ⁣

Next comes the roughing which includes wiring, plumbing, HVAC and insolation. Simultaneously the exterior starts with waterproofing, lath and stucco.⁣

Everyone all of a sudden looks like a general contractor! Or a bank robber 🤣 I've been wearing safety masks for years, as do most people who work on construction projects. Now it has become part of my standard uniform, regardless of the existence of dust or fumes. 😷⁣

This is a project I'm currently building in the La Jolla, CA area. It's a granny flat or cottage being built next to the main property. It has two bedrooms, one bathroom, a laundry room, French doors leading out to a porch and a very nice driveway. 🏡
