This transformation wasn’t just aesthetic — it was ecological.

We designed this space as a layered food-producing system:
• Canopy + understory fruit trees
• Perennial herbs + pollinator support
• Soil regeneration strategies
• Water-conscious layout
• Long-term productivity built in

The result?
A resilient, abundant landscape that feeds people, supports biodiversity, and gets more productive with time.

Landscapes can do more than look good.
They can function.

One of the newest additions to this ecological farm installation: a custom viewing deck built from wood and corten steel.

This space was intentionally designed as more than a structure. It’s a place to pause, to look out over the main production gardens, to watch the systems at work, and to enjoy the rhythm of the farm as the sun sets. A spot to share a drink, take in the view, and reconnect with the land that’s feeding you.

Thoughtful farm design isn’t just about productivity—it’s about creating places where people can experience beauty, abundance, and stewardship all at once.

16.6 pounds of leafy greens and herbs harvested just 4–6 weeks after planting. 🌿
This is what thoughtful farm management can produce—healthy soil, well-timed planting, and consistent, attentive care working together.

Abundance isn’t accidental. It comes from designing systems that support life, building soil that holds water and nutrients, and showing up week after week to steward the land. When the foundation is right, the harvest reflects it.

This is what abundance can look like.

This is what it looks like when a production team is fully in sync with the land.
Healthy beds, vibrant greens, and a crew that knows how to listen to plants all the while the farm is still under construction!

We’re harvesting directly from these beds for our client’s on-site chef, bringing the garden straight into the kitchen.
The vegetable program on this install is firing on all cylinders.

Building pathways the land can live with.

These custom clay paver paths that are in progress are designed to shed water intentionally—guiding rainfall off the walking surface and into adjacent planting areas where it can soak into the soil and support the garden. Rather than treating hardscape as a barrier, the pathway becomes part of the site’s hydrology.

The gentle curves respond to topography, circulation patterns, and how people naturally move through the landscape. Materials are chosen for durability, repairability, and how they weather over time—so the path integrates more deeply with the landscape each season.

This is slow infrastructure, shaped to serve both people and plants.

Looking from the food forest into the working heart of the farm 🌿

This is ecological craftsmanship in practice—
terraces set to slow water,
stone placed for longevity,
gardens designed to mature with the land.

Built slowly.
Built to last.
Built in relationship.
