landLAB landscape Architects- Entry Level Landscape Designer - Los Angeles CA / San Diego, CA

landLAB is a small landscape architectural design studio focused on innovative, sustainable design solutions to a wide range of project types including: Master planning, Higher Education, Public Art, Mixed use/Housing, K-8 schools, Corporate and Hotel/lifestyle projects

We are looking for an experienced dedicated landscape architecture professional with a strong interest in creative environmental design, possessing strong design and communication skills (verbal, graphic, and written) to join our growing San Diego and Los Angeles offices. Applicants should be able to move between concept to construction drawings and be comfortable hand drawing and using 3D design tools. Design tasks involving but not limited to construction detailing, material research, a strong knowledge of California native and adaptive Mediterranean planting, hardscape, and coordination with other disciplines. Reliability, collaboration and the ability to ask questions and seek answers is vital for this position.

REQUIRED:
Landscape Architecture or Architecture Degree; Bachelors or Masters
Proficiency with AutoCAD, sketchup, Windows and Adobe Creative Suites
Experience with Construction Document preparation (details and specifications)

DESIRABLE:
Experience with Revit and other 3D modelling (Lumion, Sketchup)
Regional Experience- Southern California
Project management –client and consultant team
Construction Administration experience (or interest)

EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years +

SALARY and BENEFITS:

Bikeway Village in Imperial Beach just wrapped up!!

If you are ever on a bike ride on the Silver Strand in Imperial Beach, you should go check out the brand new Bikeway Village on 13th St. The site is expected to have a Coronado Brewing location, a Trident Coffee Shop and a bike shop in the next months.

We currently have an open position for our San Diego office. We are looking for an experienced dedicated landscape architect/designer with a strong interest in creative environmental design, possessing strong design and communication skills to join our growing San Diego office. Able to move between multiple aspects from concept to construction drawings involving but not limited to planting, hardscape, irrigation and coordination with other disciplines. Reliability, collaboration and the ability to ask questions and seek answers is vital for this position. 2-3 years experience minimum.
