Celebrating a major milestone at America's Finest Charter School!

Gafcon was honored to join the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the America's Finest Charter School Whole Site Modernization project for the San Diego Unified School District. The project transformed the campus through a comprehensive redevelopment that included a new two-story classroom building with administrative offices, modernization of an existing classroom building, a new Transitional Kindergarten modular classroom, upgraded play areas and athletic facilities, a new parking lot, enhanced landscaping and irrigation, and new perimeter fencing.

Congratulations to the San Diego Unified School District, the project team, partners, and stakeholders who made this achievement possible. We are proud to support projects that create lasting value for schools and communities throughout the region!

Congratulations to our 2026 Summer Interns!

After 10 weeks of learning, collaboration, and hands-on experience, our interns officially wrapped up their summer journey with final presentations showcasing all they accomplished. From supporting projects and learning new skills to building connections across our team, they made a meaningful impact throughout the program.

A special thank you to our mentors and team members who shared their time, knowledge, and guidance along the way. We are proud of everything these talented individuals achieved and can't wait to see what comes next in their careers!

Exciting progress is underway at San Diego City College's Affordable Student Housing!

Foundation work continues with concrete pours for walls and columns, underground utility installations are advancing, and key upcoming milestones include completion of the wetlands treatment tank and coordination of branding and interior design elements.

Every step forward brings this transformative project closer to delivering affordable, modern housing for students. Congrats to the SDCCD team on all their hard work!

We were proud to sponsor Riverside Unified School District’s 2026 Leadership Symposium, “One Riverside. One Vision. One Future.”

The two-day event brought district leaders together to connect, collaborate, and gear up for another successful school year. Representing Gafcon were Jake Johnson, Labor Relations Project Manager, and Stephen Johnson, Director of Labor Relations, who were honored to support RUSD’s dedication to its students, educators, and community.
