Scenes from the grand opening dedication ceremony at Congregational Place in Chula Vista. The project was developed jointly by Retirement Housing Foundation (RHF) and Congregational Church Development Corporation (CCDC).

An exciting moment at the ribbon-cutting ceremony! The first resident proudly taking the scissors, marking a new beginning. Mayor John McCann to the left, and to the right is Stuart Hartman, RHF's CEO, by his side, celebrating this milestone together. Here’s to new beginnings and happy, healthy seniors!

Construction Update: Things are looking good for Textur. Located in the Grossmont Commercial District of La Mesa. This four-story mixed-use development features 49 generously sized one- and two-bedroom residential units, each complete with private balconies. Residential amenities include a large fitness center, a lounge perfect for social gatherings, and a rooftop terrace, providing views of the surrounding hillsides.

At the heart of the building, a retail space anchors the corner of Grossmont Boulevard and Wilson Street. The architectural design showcases a creative interplay of materials and textures, resulting in an eye-catching geometric façade that adds character and vibrancy to the area, making this development a striking addition to the neighborhood.

Construction Update: 4th & Palm is coming to life!

We're excited to share that scaffolding is down on this eight-story mixed-use development in the heart of San Diego’s Banker’s Hill. Offering 90 residential units along with a state-of-the-art mechanically stacked parking system, this project is designed to enhance our community.

Ground-level commercial space engages Fourth Avenue, adding to the walkable, vibrant neighborhood. Residents will enjoy top-notch amenities, including a stylish lobby with lounge areas, a fitness center, a yoga studio, and an incredible terrace-level spa-pool deck that offers breathtaking views of downtown and the bay.

This development includes a dedicated percentage of affordable housing units, contributing to the City's Complete Communities program.

Our Principal, Charity Dunphy, recently participated in the San Diego Housing Federation Fundamentals of Affordable Housing: Design and Development series. The event featured an insightful site visit to the ShoreLINE community developed by Affirmed Housing and designed by us.

Attendees engaged in meaningful conversations about design decisions, feasibility, policy, and community needs. It was a fantastic opportunity to hear from the project team about their journey, the challenges they faced, and the lessons learned that continue to influence their work.

The PLNU West Track is nearing completion!

The new facility will feature a dedicated workout area, a convenient single-use restroom, a spacious covered outdoor area, and an ocean view! Around this space, you can look forward to an outdoor workout zone with rubber surfacing for added safety and comfort, as well as an artificial turf area perfect for a variety of activities.

Landscape enhancements include a beautiful decomposed granite pathway. The project is designed to be free of steep slopes and environmentally sensitive zones, ensuring a safe setting for everyone!
