This approximately 48,830-sf elementary school campus provides classroom buildings, a library, a gymnasium, administrative spaces, specialized learning areas, food services, and language and cultural program spaces for the Pechanga Band of Indians.

Celebrating Erick Corona on his promotion to Associate!

Erick started his career with KPFF in 2011 as an entry-level drafter. Since then, he has expanded his impact on the Modeling Department through steadily increasing levels of responsibility. His strong track record of growth and respected leadership resulted in a promotion to BIM (Building Information Modeling) Manager in 2024.

As a highly skilled structural modeler, Erick has contributed to some of KPFF San Diego’s most complex projects. Highlighted experience includes UC San Diego Health Hillcrest McGrath Outpatient Pavilion, IQHQ Research and Development District, Hotel del Coronado Victorian Building Renovations, and the Jamul Casino Resort Expansion. Featured current modeling projects include the new Naskila Casino Resort in Texas and a launch complex retrofit for a confidential aerospace company in Florida.

Guided by Erick’s strategic vision, the BIM Department has grown in both capacity and capability, prioritizing improvements in organization, workload management, and team development. Erick hires and trains new modelers and is a trusted technical resource for the entire BIM team. Thanks to his years of experience and commitment to excellence, Erick will continue to lead and strengthen KPFF.

The Pechanga Repository Building supports history with a space built for the future.

This new 21,000-sf structure for the Pechanga Band of Indians was designed with dedicated spaces for storage, administration, collaboration, and preservation. The 2-story facility, with one level located below grade, includes office, conference, and multipurpose rooms.

It was an honor to provide structural engineering services for a project that helps preserve the Tribe's culture and heritage for generations to come.
