Some moments are worth revisiting!

A few more highlights from the 2026 Guild Summit in Bozeman, Montana.

It was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with industry friends, build new relationships, and share ideas with people who are equally passionate about what they do.

We're proud to be part of the Guild Integrators Alliance and such a collaborative group of industry professionals.

Great to have these moments captured so beautifully!

Our Principal Lighting Designer, Daniela, recently joined HK Lighting and DMF Lighting for a two-day manufacturer training experience.

A highlight of the trip was a hands-on nighttime workshop at Oak Canyon Ranch, where lighting professionals worked in teams to explore different approaches to illuminating the landscape.

It was a great opportunity to learn, connect, and see firsthand how thoughtful lighting choices can completely change the way a space feels after dark.

Thank you to HK Lighting and DMF Lighting for hosting such a memorable experience! 💡

A Day at Home

Good design shows up in the little things.

The way the morning light comes in. Shades that keep the glare down without losing the view. Music that feels like part of the room. Lighting that shifts naturally as the day goes on.

At LIGHTWORKS, we bring lighting, shading, audio, and technology together in a way that feels considered, comfortable, and made for the way the home is actually lived in.

It was great to welcome Liz Birch from The Guild Integrators Alliance to the LIGHTWORKS showroom yesterday!

Liz had the chance to meet many of our team members and chat about our exciting new chapter as members of The Guild.

She even embraced the SoCal vibe while she was here! ☀️🌴

Thanks for visiting, Liz! It was wonderful to have you, and we’re excited to be part of The Guild community.

San Diego homes are made for outdoor living, and the right lighting can make those spaces much more usable once the sun goes down.

We look at the whole property, not just where to place a few fixtures. The goal is to make patios, walkways, seating areas, and the landscape feel connected, comfortable, and easy to enjoy at night.

Good outdoor lighting also gives you better visibility around the home and helps the architecture still read beautifully after dark.

That’s when the space really starts to work for you.

Reno bound 💡✈️

Our Lighting Design Lead, Electrical Project Coordinator, and electricians are at the Elemental LED Inc. factory this week, getting hands-on with the latest products, technology, and applications.

And yes… they’ve somehow managed to escape the San Diego heat for cooler temperatures in Reno. We didn’t see that one coming 😂

Always learning, always bringing more knowledge back to the projects we design and install.

A big thank you to the Elemental LED team for the warm welcome and for sharing their expertise with us!

Thank you to everyone who joined us this week for our CEU, “Human Centric Lighting for Today’s Luxury Home,” hosted at the LIGHTWORKS showroom.

The session explored how quality light, natural light, and personalized control can work together to support comfort, well-being, and the way clients experience their homes.

Thank you to Coline Reinhardt of Lutron Electronics for leading such an insightful presentation, and to all the designers who joined us.

Stay tuned for our next CEU and upcoming events.

We’re honored to be featured on the cover of the October 2026 issue of Residential Systems.

In Lighting the Way, Anthony Savona takes a closer look at LIGHTWORKS’ 25-year approach to bringing electrical, lighting design, and home technology together under one company.

The article also shares Troy Dunnington’s perspective on how that integrated model has evolved, our work with the design-build community, the importance of apprenticeship and training, and the growing role of smart power in residential projects.

The kitchen is one of the most layered spaces in the home, and lighting plays a major role in how it feels.

Integrated lighting can bring out the warmth of cabinetry, define stone and architectural details, and create a softer atmosphere as the day moves into evening.

We approach kitchen lighting as part of the overall design, with each layer considered for both function and visual impact.
