In more Gold Nugget news, we’re thrilled that The Lindley received a 2026 Gold Nugget Merit Award for Best Mixed-Use Project!

Located in San Diego’s Little Italy, The Lindley (The Lindley) layers luxury residences, a boutique hotel, and street-level retail within a single high-rise development. Its considered circulation, active and engaging ground floor, walkable urban design, and LEED Gold Certification reflect a thoughtful approach to creating a vibrant and sustainable mixed-use destination.

We’re proud to have been part of a project that contributes to the continued evolution of Little Italy, while creating a place that is connected to its surroundings and to the people who live, stay, shop, and gather there.

As always, eternal gratitude to our team and collaborators, and to the Gold Nugget Awards!

We are pleased to announce that our project, Alexan Camellia celebrated two Gold Nugget Awards this week!

The project earned a Merit Award for Best Multifamily Housing Community (100 DU/Acres or More). As the first residential development built on San Diego’s Convoy Street, Alexan Camellia brings more than 500 new homes to the Convoy Asian Cultural District. The project helps to establish a walkable residential neighborhood with the introduction of housing, active public spaces, and a strong sense of community to an area long defined by its commercial character.

The project’s interiors by Parisa O’Connell were also recognized in a big way, with Best Interior Design of a Multifamily Community. O’Connell and team created a cohesive, layered design that gives the amenity spaces a distinct sense of identity while supporting the overall character of the community.

We are honored for this recognition, and thank our client, Trammel Crow Residential, our internal and external teams, and the PCBC Gold Nugget Awards!

What a wonderful evening reconnecting with alumni from the University of Illinois School of Architecture (Illinois Architecture) during the Convention in San Diego.

We were honored to welcome the school's leader, Francisco J Rodríguez, FAIA, along with professor emeritus Kathryn Anthony, director Paula Santiago, and distinguished alumni from across the country, including JWDA Managing Principal Matthew Geaman, AIA, LEED AP; former San Diego City Architect and lifelong educator Mike Stepner, FAIA; and newly elevated AIA Fellows, Curtis F. Clay, FAIA, and , FAIA.

The talent, leadership, and shared history represented in the room made for an inspiring gathering. We're grateful to the team at Ancora San Diego for their support and use of their spectacular rooftop venue, and everyone who joined us and helped celebrate the enduring connections and accomplishments of the Illinois School of Architecture.
