I know we live in a desert, but sometimes a new green lawn is just beautiful.. We are doing a little work on this $2,000,000+ bank owned gem in Carmel Valley.

This back yard has a ton of potential, so far we have only been contracted to take down weeds. They were three feet tall!

We extended the parking at this location over in Del Cerro. They didn't want a big concrete expanse, so widening the driveway was not an option. We settled on laying some thick flagstone over decomposed granite and backfilling with 3/8 California Gold gravel from Bedrock Boulders and Landscape Supply.

Bay Park project completed. Mostly gravels, bark and artificial turf. A few selected plantings. Low maintenance and low water use.

Most people build a dry streambed for two distinct reasons. They want it either for aesthetic reasons or they have a need to control water drainage.

The first couple of three 200 gallon rain barrels going into a project on Linda Rosa in La Jolla. These will be hidden under a deck and store 600 gallons of recovered rainwater. The plan is to attach them to dripper irrigation lines to keep the plants happy.
