Beware of wipes. Although the packaging may say that wipes are flush-able or safe for sewers and septic tanks, testing has proven otherwise. It can take up to 10 minutes for wipes to be broken down into smaller pieces or not even break down at all. The bottom line is to not use your toilet as a wastebasket. Toss used wipes into an actual garbage can. The same advice holds true for tissues and paper towels.
