Livan got to play in the dirt a bit today on a water line replacement we did in Milpitas. One thing about working with us is that we'll handle every portion of the job; permits, traffic control, standing inspection, and concrete repair.

Anybody know what is wrong with this picture? The last plumber got a bit lazy and used SharkBite fittings to put this recirculation pump in. SharkBites are ideal for emergency repairs or sometimes used in tight spaces where soldering is impossible but neither of those circumstances applied here. We had to replace all SharkBite fittings for our customer when we changed out their water heater, just hate seeing lazy work.

I know a lot of people argue that CPVC is just as good as copper, but we've been doing this for over 60 years and will tell you we replace a lot more CPVC main water lines than we do copper.

Backflow thieves are on a spree. Last week we did 4 emergency replacements. If you don't have your backflows caged and lock, you are a target. These thieves will steal the backflow and sell the scrap metal for less than $100, unfortunately to replace them could cost $1200 to $3000 depending on the size. Call us to get yours caged.

This is what a tecnology driven water heater looks like on the inside. I think it's safe to say these kind of water heaters are not a DIY kind of gig.

Went to test this backflow in the vault and found it to be flooded with a snake swimming in it. That was a hard no for our backflow tester. Next step is to pump out the vault and save the snake!
