You can tell this roof skin was a little rough after we stripped all the filler out of it. It was stretched and manipulated in ways that idk if the best body guy could have sorted it out or not but I played with it and it kicked my butt. Best decision I could make was to cut the roof off completely and set a new roof skin on it. That gave us the opportunity to strip/ treat and prime underneath and we threw a coat of lizard skin on the inside of the roof panel to help with the tinny sound of a hollow panel and road noise before it was reinstalled. I am excited to see this truck finally coming together and hard work paying off in the final view of it before it goes back to the customer.
