I got up to some of my old tricks yesterday. After overturning every box I found the naugahyde I saved from the chair (Would I ever have forgiven myself if I threw that out? It was tense for awhile there). Found the tin of thread colours. Found the bag of zippers ... It takes time after a move to get everything back into reaching distance. I'm so pleased the new Sailrite machine picked up the task beautifully, no jams or complications with unconventional thread. It felt good and natural to be back in this saddle.
