This post has been the hardest for me to bring myself to do. On June 23rd I took Red to the vet for a lump that developed on his hip. At first thought to be a hematoma, his lab results came back for malignant hemangiosarcoma, or cancer of the blood vessels. With no available treatment, a 100% fatality rate, and a life expectancy of 3-6 months I was heart broken. This dog has been with me before I started my company, the company named after him. I spent more time with him in the last 9.5 years than with anyone else, including my wife and kids.

On Monday he lost his battle with cancer, and I lost my best friend and best companion anyone could ask for. He touched the hearts of many people throughout the years, and if you were able to meet him you can consider yourself one of the lucky ones. His memory lives on within us, and his legacy continues in this company.
