Turk Kauffman and Lauri Puchall have lived and worked in the Bay Area since the late 1980s, both receiving Master of Architecture (MArch) degrees from the University of California at Berkeley in 1992. Projects range from residential remodels and additions to all-new construction; from commercial interiors to outdoor rooms. The work consistently strives to connect interior spaces with natural surro

undings while embracing furnishings, lighting, material ecology and landscape. Recent clients include West Marin eateries 11 Wharf and the Cowgirl Creamery and Audubon Canyon Ranch land preserves. Piedmont Modern. The final phase of a three-phase remodel was the primary bedroom and ensuite bath. The new design included a curbless shower, Heath ceramic tile floor, custom casework, and new windows and closets. Photos of the first two phases: three-sided gas fireplace; new kitchen; new office; new bath are shown as well.
