San Anselmo project// The tile story for this project is in line with overall design sensibility- mid-century but not minimalist nor industrial; rather it’s a story of contrast and warmth. Iron and brown as anchor colors with a deliberate play between light and dark. Deep ochre brown with creamy marble and warm mid-century white.

Recently complete home for rent project including two baths, kitchen refresh, floor refinish, door hardware, exterior lighting, carpet runner, window shades and more. May seem a big feat but not in this prime address location with views of Tam out every window.

When there's teens in the house they sometimes need their own space. So where's the adulting space?

Right here. We defined a separate sitting area for the adults adjacent to the gaming headquarters. The adulting space is elevated with chic stripes and playful patterned pillows in a set of swivel chairs around an organic soft shaped pair of wood coffee tables. A space for adults to call their own too. We see you teen parents 👀

Another example of how Janzen Design incorporates smart design into every project they do.

Built in cabinets, through added functionality of storage, naturally invite a space to be used for multiple functions. The TV next to the gaming console, next to the family desk allows a space to host many different activities AND to still feel organized and calm between all of them.

Additionally built in cabinets add a lot of visual appeal to an interior and much value to a home. Some cite that homeowners recoup an average of 50% of the costs of cabinets upon selling.

This laundry room incorporates all the function of storage of household items, cleaning products, entertaining kitchenware, alongside kids' backpacks, and the soccer cleats. EVERYthing has a space and every cabinet has a function. The wood counter surface is hard working, not precious material, but its inherent warmth adds to the space to create an inviting environment.

The star pattern on the floor tile and understated white handmade backsplash tile with a zelliege look create a signature look all the clients' own. Inviting guests to stay and fold just one more load of laundry 💪 👏
