PSA 🐝 Bee Season Is Here!
As temperatures warm up, you'll likely start seeing more bees around your home, garden, and neighborhood. Bee activity naturally increases this time of year, especially around flowering plants, outdoor living spaces, and backyard BBQs.
Check out this photo from a backyard BBQ here in the area. This is a real photo from one of our valued customers.
A few things to keep in mind this season:
✅ Watch for increased bee activity around eaves, sheds, trees, and outdoor structures.
✅ Keep food and drinks covered during outdoor gatherings.
✅ Be cautious when drinking from open cans or cups outdoors.
✅ Keep an eye on children and pets when playing outside.
✅ Avoid approaching or disturbing active hives or swarms.
✅ Stay calm if a bee lands nearby. Swatting can make them feel threatened.
Most bee activity is completely normal this time of year, and these important pollinators play a vital role in our environment. A little awareness can help keep your family safe while allowing bees to do what they do best.
Whether you're gardening, grilling, or simply enjoying time outdoors, stay aware and have a safe, enjoyable summer season! 🌼🍔🐝
