The kWh Analytics Solar Risk Assessment 2026 is officially here.

This year, GroundWork contributed a deep dive on hail mitigation; comparing module construction and stow strategies across the U.S. to answer the question everyone's asking: what's actually worth it?

GroundWork is heading to PVPMC; and we're providing more than the logistics. We're excited to collaborate with the community on PV performance modeling and system monitoring.

We'll have one presenter and three posters covering topics ranging from:

- Satellite data site-adaptation to ground-measured GHI across the US
- Laboratory & outdoor measurement insights for CdTe module performance
- Measurement-supported soiling loss modeling with site-specific preconstruction data
- Optimizing statistical sampling of in-situ PV module performance metrics

Want to connect? Set up a meeting with us at [email protected].

PVPMC 2026 is sold out; and we couldn't be more excited.

With just a couple of weeks to go, we want to take another moment to thank the 2026 sponsors who helped make this possible: Array Technologies, Nextpower, Terabase Energy, Kiewit, PVcase, PVFARM, PVsyst, Clean Power Research, DNV, Hukx USA, McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., Silicon Ranch Corporation, and Solargis.

Your investment in independent, industry-wide performance modeling keeps the technical bar high, the conversation open, and registration accessible to the people doing this work.

A sold-out workshop says a lot: this community is growing, the questions matter, and the people showing up are serious about getting performance modeling right. We can't wait to see everyone in a couple of weeks. ☀️

Happy Earth Day!

Every solar project we support, from resource assessment through operations, is a step toward a cleaner grid and a healthier planet.

At GroundWork, we believe the best thing you can do for Earth Day is provide more clean energy. Accurate data. Bankable results. Projects that perform, as modeled, for decades.

Thank you to all of our clients and partners for helping to build our solar future. We're proud to be the certainty behind your projects.

At GroundWork, we think resilience starts before the storm.

How we approach hail follows a simple framework: Assess → Test → Monitor → Mitigate. Site-specific risk assessment. Independent module testing. On-site hail event monitoring. And after every storm, the data to answer the questions that matter most:

Did damaging hail reach our site?
Did stow occur in time?
Did impacts exceed damage thresholds, and where?

Event by event, that builds a resilience record that holds up with insurers, informs smarter decisions, and reduces uncertainty across the portfolio.

How ready are you for this hail season?
