Good morning everyone! With this weeks upcoming heat wave be mindful that ac units will be working their hardest to keep your house cool.

Here are my recommendations on how to keep your house cool and keep your ac running properly.

Check your filter 1 inch air filter filters should be replaced every 2 to 3 months 4-5” media filters every 4-6 months a dirty filter can cause lack of airflow and cause your system to freeze up

Turn your thermostat to a lower temperature earlier in the daytime. It’s easier for your system to maintain a certain temperature rather than bring it down from a high temperature to what you desire

Schedule a preventive maintenance 978-518-7726 a clean system will ensure proper operation and efficiency of your cooling system and to make sure those condensate lines are draining properly

PSA systems are only designed to cool at about a 20-30 degree temperature drop so that means if it’s 100 degrees out your system may only be able to cool into the 70s
